January Enrichment

It's ENRICHMENT DAY!!!!! I hope everyone is as excited as I am! Don't forget, 7:00pm at the church, and yes, there is childcare.

I don't know about you, but I have a hard time finding healthy foods to make. Does anyone have a recipe for a healthy snack or dessert? If you do and you're feeling like a chef today, feel free to bring a sample tonight to share with us. It's fun to share recipe ideas!

See y'all tonight!

Super 'Saver' Saturday

Hey Ladies!

Yesterday at church we passed around the Super 'Saver' Saturday sign-up sheets. The activity is Saturday, October 20th, from 9-12.

With General Conference next week, we only have ONE more Sunday to sign-up!

We have 4 projects:

Homemade Wreaths

 Glass Etching

Vinyl Boards

Jean Bibs

If you did not sign up yesterday, you can sign-up by emailing: copperbasinrs@gmail.com.

A couple of notes:

Homemade Wreaths - You may bring your own book, magazine or scrapbook paper if you want to use it. Otherwise, we will have various paper and books to use. The max amount is 2, unless you are bringing your own paper.
Glass Etching -  Please bring your own dish; Clearly spell out the name for the dish. The max amount you can make is 2.
Jean Bibs - We will provide jeans and scrap fabric. You can bring your own scrap fabric if you would like. Also, please bring a sewing machine. If you don't have one, that's ok! There is no max amount.
Vinyl Boards - Vinyl, wood and paint will be provided. You can choose from these phrases: There is sunshine in my soul, Happily Ever After, Love is Spoken Here. We don't have a max amount that you can make, however, if you would like to make more than 2, we would ask if you would bring your own wood.

Also, we will have our humanitarian project set up.  If you are waiting for paint to dry, or if you finish all your projects you can work with Sis. Plott to get some dolls made.

Remember, it is important to sign-up. All the activities are free, so having a head count will be very helpful! We are very excited about this activity and hope to see you all there!

Thank you!

Errand of Angels

"Errand of Angels"
Clothing and Goods Exchange

This Thursday is our next relief society activity. We have been collecting gently used items over the last few weeks to use in our exchange. There are two more drop off times, this Tuesday and Wednesday from 7-8 at the Desert Willow building. You can also drop off your items at Sis. Aimee Seitz' house at any time.

We are very excited for this activity and hope to see you all there! There will be alot of items up for grabs, so you can bring a bag or laundry basket to carry your goods. Oh, and don't forget to bring a yummy dessert to share!
